Flocks still surprise me
Geese make the same late loud sound
As last year’s last bend

ii.
Late geese call from high
Above the cathedral spire
Sound just like last year

iii.
The geese flock above,
Make the same frenetic sound
Why am I surprised?

This is Mused, a literary journal where my newest story has been accepted. It is now out... Anyway, I have NO memory of writing this whatsoever. I hope it is good! I have been told the title is "Otherwise..." and that this one is non-fiction.
